I’m pretty sure most of us know that cardio is fantastic for increasing our fitness level and for helping our bodies to burn calories. As you ladies may know, my favourite type of cardio is walking and I tend to listen to music or watch TV while I’m walking on the treadmill, it helps keep cardio boredom away! Making cardio more effective AND keeping it interesting can be a bit of a juggling act. 

I know plenty of BBG girls struggle to stay focused on their cardio for a full 35-40 minutes, and I’m sure many of us have had some of these thoughts while we’re doing it!

This gets easier at some point, right? 

I really need to find some more TV to binge-watch.

Okay, now I’ve hit my stride. I could definitely train for a marathon.

Nope. Have not hid my stride.

Am I dripping in sweat? I feel like I should be dripping in sweat.

I swear, I had 10 minutes left half an hour ago!

EVERYTHING hurts.

Now I understand all those “cardio is hardio” jokes.

Finished! YAY! That wasn’t so bad.

Yes ladies, even I have felt a little cardio boredom a few times! Don’t be afraid to mix-up your routine a little bit if you can’t face another cardio session. Try some of these cardio exercises that don’t need a treadmill outdoors, or at home. Sometimes a change of scenery can make all the difference!
