It is SUPER important to stay properly hydrated throughout the day, water is no joke! Being properly hydrated will let your body function at it's best, you won't feel as tired or lethargic and even hunger may be subsided. However, so many people don't drink enough water in the day! The recommended water intake is 8 (250ml) cups of water a day for an adult, and this will increase the more physical activity you complete. I have just released my brand NEW 1L drink bottle which is perfect for carrying in your gym or handbag, which makes it SO easy to remember to stay hydrated!
If you are one of those people that struggles to drink water because it is boring, or you prefer the taste of soda - I have the best recipes for you! These four fruit infused water combos are the BEST! It is so easy to make them in my new drink bottle which has a wide mouth that you can easily fit all the fruit into.
You can drink these daily to add some variety to your water, and they are also perfect served at parties. To get the best flavour out of your fruit infused water, I recommend to leave them to infuse for at least 4 hours in the fridge before drinking them. The longer you leave them, the stronger the flavour. You can also choose to use still or sparkling water, both giving a different taste!
1. Raspberry & Lemon
In a jug combine water (still or sparkling), one sliced lemon and 10 raspberries. This combo is super refreshing and zingy!
2. Cherry & Lime
In a jug combine water (still or sparkling), one sliced lime and 10 cherries. Just remember to take the pits out of the cherries! This combo is the perfect substitute for a sweet soda.
3. Grapefruit & Rosemary
In a jug combine water (still or sparkling), one sliced grapefruit and 2 sprigs of rosemary. This combo is super refreshing and adds a great twist to the standard lemon water.
4. Blackberry & Orange
In a jug combine water (still or sparkling), one sliced orange and 10 blackberries. This is a delicious combo that tastes even better if you crush the blackberries slightly.
