For the BBG Community around the world, times have been tough.

As we all spend time at home, there might be new practical challenges and — for many women — lots of responsibilities to juggle. Keeping healthy might be a priority, but that doesn’t mean it is always easy to find motivation

That’s why I have created my new six-week at-home SWEAT Challenge for women following my BBG program, starting on June 8, 2020.

For six weeks, you can join women around the globe in staying active, making time for yourself, and creating a healthy routine. 

We might all be apart, but we can still find strength and connect by doing my BBG Challenge workouts in the SWEAT Challenge together!

How do I join the SWEAT Challenge?

You can join the SWEAT Challenge through the SWEAT app. Once you become a member of SWEAT, you can sign up to join my new, exclusive BBG Challenge program, created specifically for the SWEAT Challenge. A banner will appear in the app that lets you sign up — to see this you’ll need to make sure you have updated to the latest version of SWEAT from the App Store or Google Play.

Bbg Sweat Challenge

My BBG Challenge has two at-home workout options you can choose from — whether you want to train with no equipment using just your bodyweight to exercise, or you have some home gym equipment to use for your workouts.

Choose “No equipment” to do bodyweight workouts

The “Equipment” option is for anyone who has access to some basic home gym equipment; a chair, skipping rope and dumbbells.

Once you have chosen which option you’ll be doing, there are two levels of difficulty to select from: “Starting Out” and “Challenge Me”. 

"Starting Out" is best for any BBG Community members who are new to working out, or just beginning a fitness journey. 

The "Challenge Me" option has workouts that are a bit harder and will challenge you. This level of difficulty is for intermediate or advanced members. 

The 2020 SWEAT Challenge starts on Monday, June 8, 2020, and runs until Sunday, July 19, 2020. You can register to join until June 28, 2020.

What happens during the BBG Challenge?

When the BBG Challenge starts, it will run for six weeks, with new, exclusive, 28-minute workouts that you can do at home. 

On the first day of each week, your BBG Challenge workouts for the next seven days will appear in the app. 

The BBG training style can be done anywhere, and my six-week BBG Challenge program has been designed to progressively build your strength and fitness. 

If you want to do “No equipment” workouts, you can just use your bodyweight as resistance. 

In your weekly BBG Challenge program you’ll find: 

  • Resistance workouts x 3 
  • A weekly Express workout (Optional)
  • Low-intensity cardio x 2
  • Recovery x 2 (including one rest day)

The BBG Challenge has some brand new features

If you have an Apple Watch, you can use it to access the BBG Challenge program, making it even easier to work out anywhere, anytime. 

The new Express workouts have an abs or legs focus, and are a great option for you to do a quick workout, even with a busy schedule!

As an added bonus, everyone who signs up for the SWEAT Challenge will also receive a free, three-month premium subscription to MyFitnessPal! Once you’ve joined the SWEAT Challenge, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details on how to redeem your free MyFitnessPal membership.

Routine can make all the difference

Even in uncertain times, having a routine can bring a sense of purpose to your days at home. 

At the start of each week you will see your BBG Challenge workouts in the SWEAT app, and they will also appear in your Planner. 

You can use the Planner to schedule your week, and move your workouts around if you need to — make your timetable work for YOU!  

Using the Planner feature is a great way to set a healthy routine and make yourself accountable to your health and fitness goals.

The BBG Challenge offers an exercise session every day, including resistance workouts, cardio, recovery sessions or express workouts. 

Express workouts are an additional way to meet your fitness goals. I have BBG Challenge express workouts each week for either abs or legs — try these on the days that you are feeling time poor!

No matter where you are in your fitness journey — from beginner to advanced — the BBG Challenge will help you achieve your fitness goals, or stay healthy and work out at home.
