This is something a little different - a recipe for your fave furry friend! Ace and TJ approved ;) These easy homemade dog biscuits are the perfect treat to whip up for your dog and are great because they contain no artificial additives or flavours (just make sure to use natural peanut butter and stock!). They also make the perfect gift for any of your friends who are also dog owners!
Here is the recipe:
140g (1 cup) whole wheat flour
125g (½ cup) peanut butter**
½ medium banana, mashed
60ml (¼ cup) vegetable, chicken or beef stock
1. Preheat oven to 180C/350CF.
2. Combine the flour, peanut butter and banana in a large mixing bowl. Add the stock and stir until well-combined. The dough will be thick. Once combined use your hands to press the dough into a ball. Place the dough ball on a flat surface (with a sprinkle of flour if needed) and roll out evenly with a rolling pin. The dough should be about ¼ inch thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into the desired shape and place on ungreased baking sheet.
3. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Store in an airtight container.
Share with your furry friend and watch them enjoy!
Love, Kayla xx
