Do you ever feel like life is a bit of a juggling act? Like you are always rushing through one thing so you can move on to the next? It’s so easy to feel frazzled and to become unproductive when you’re overloaded!

So, what do you do on those days when you have a ton of tasks to get through, but you just can’t seem to get going? Here are a few tips to help reset an unproductive mindset and help you get stuff done!

Log off

I’m not the best at this but it is something that I need to try more of! It can be really easy to spend hours of time scrolling through social media sites, plus it can stop you from concentrating on what you should be doing. So if you’re aiming to workout or go to sleep early, try not to get sucked in to a ‘quick look at Instagram’. We all know there is no such thing as a ‘quick look’ ;)

Change your position

Sometimes you need to get away from the problem in order to find a solution! Take a quick walk, make a cup of tea or stand up and stretch for a few minutes. You’ll probably be more productive after a break. 

Take a moment to reflect and assess

Have you ever become so caught up in everything you need to get done and how much is happening that you weren’t able to concentrate? This is a really common sign of stress. Pause for a moment, take a few deep breaths and focus on one thing you need to do. Spending even one minute refocusing your thoughts can improve your overall concentration, give you an energy boost and help get stuff done!

Go exercise!

There are so many reasons why working out is good for you! Exercise is great for stress management and for improving your mood. Sometimes a quick workout can help you to shift brain fog and feel more creative!

We all struggle with productivity sometimes, especially if we are really tired, so don’t feel bad about yourself! Hopefully these tips will make it easier to give your mindset a reboot and jump over that unproductive hurdle.
