Healthy Banana Choc-Nut Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

This healthy breakfast smoothie is filling and packed with goodies! The wheatgerm is full vitamins and fibre, while the nuts add texture and healthy fats, which will keep blood sugar spikes at bay! Wheatgerm, nuts and protein powder combined will give you a filling, nutritious breakfast that will keep you going until lunch time!

Serves 2

Ingredients
½ cup rolled oats, soaked overnight in ½ cup water, refrigerated
2 ripe bananas
¼ cup raw nuts, like cashews or peanuts
1 tbsp wheatgerm
1 cup milk of your choice
½ cup reduced-fat plain Greek yoghurt
10-15g chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp cacao powder, optional
1 tsp honey, optional
3 ice cubes

Directions
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
