Bliss Balls Recipe

Just because the Holiday season is coming to an end it doesn't mean you can't still treat yourself! These bliss balls are the perfect pre-workout snack or treat to whip up whenever you have some free time. The peanut butter ones are ACTUALLY amazing!

Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

This makes 12-14 balls

Ingredients:
10 Medjool dates, pitted
100g raw almonds
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cacao powder
1-2 tbsp water, if needed

Method:

1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Place the dates and almonds in a food processor and process until well combined.
3. Add the peanut butter and cacao and blend again until a dough begins to form. If the mix looks and feels a bit dry add a little water. The mix should feel a little sticky.
4. Using your hands, roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into snack sized balls.
5. Place the balls on the prepared tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
6. Store the Peanut Butter Bliss Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

 Coconut and Cacao Balls

Coconut and Cacao Balls

This makes 12-14 balls.

Ingredients:
10 Medjool dates, pitted
75g raw walnuts
75g hazelnuts
35g cacao powder
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1-2 tbsp water, if needed
45g desiccated coconut, for rolling

Method:

1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Place the dates, walnuts and hazelnuts almonds in a food processor and blend until well combined.
3. Add the cacao powder and coconut oil and blend again until a dough begins to form. If the mix looks and feels a bit dry add a little water. The mix should feel a little sticky.
4. Using your hands, roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into snack sized balls.
5. Place the balls on the prepared tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
6. Remove from the refrigerator and roll each ball in coconut and place back on the prepared tray. Continue to roll all the balls in the coconut
7. Refrigerate again for 30 minutes before serving.
8. Store the Coconut and Cacao Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator
