This smoothie bowl reminds me of Christmas in Australia! Cherries are one of my favourite fruits and make this bowl so delicious.
Ingredients (serves 1) :
150g (1 cup) dark sweet frozen cherries
½ medium banana, peeled and chopped
2 tsp acai berry powder (optional)
125ml low-fat milk
100g low-fat plain yoghurt
8 whole fresh cherries
2 tbsp desiccated or flaked coconut
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1. Place the frozen cherries, banana, acai powder, if using, milk and yoghurt in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. To serve, pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with the fresh cherries, coconut, almonds and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
