My name is Betty and I just finally finished your 12 week program, and I have to say it whooped my butt (in a good way)! hehe. I have to say, I'm really thankful that you came up with this guide - it really helped transformed my life for the better.
I've always been really self conscious about my weight. I think it stemmed from when I was young and my sister would always call me fat and also my best friend said boys only liked skinny girls, but no matter how much I starved and worked out, I would never reach the weight I wanted. Also, I was always almost to the point of collapsing because I was barely eating and playing sports back in high school and working out during college. I actually did faint once.
I purchased your BBG Guide a year ago because my friend from Australia that was visiting LA at the time told me she was doing your program and that she got major results from it. I decided to try it, but wasn't very consistent and didn't follow your nutrition book guide. Last year, I also fell into a slight depression because I would work out like crazy and then binge - I was unhappy with the way I was living my life. I just turned 21 too so I was partying and drinking a lot. That resulted in some weight gain (picture on the left).
Finally, it was during my move from San Diego to Los Angeles that I decided to give your guides another try. I would workout before work at 6am every morning by myself since I didn't really know anyone in LA yet. A sweet girl named Remi approached me at the gym since she saw me doing the guide. I asked her if I could workout with her sometime since we were both doing the same program. I joined her and now we workout everyday together.
I honestly am thankful that you came out with this guide. This is literally the healthiest and happiest I've been all my life. I've been trying out your recipes on your guide, and I must say, I am addicted to the chia seed pudding!! I eat good food now, and I am the most fit I've been. Your guides really helped me change my lifestyle, so thank you so much. Also, I participate in the LA BBG meetups all the time. So many girls have been transformed because of your guides. I've made so many friends through this community. You're really an inspiration.
