This week's transformations are yet again proof that you can become more confident in your skin if you put in the hard work & dedication. These girls have achieved incredible results and I am SO proud of each of them.
This is @crystal_eatlivewell and in her lovely email she wrote to me: "I used both the HELP & BBTG. I used to live a very unhealthy life - never did any exercise, ate whatever and whenever I wanted, partied and drank until I passed out like there’s no tomorrow. I thought that was the way to live my life to the fullest until I came across Kayla’s page…The transformation photos and stories shared by all these awesome ladies all over the world amazed me. I realized it was time to make a change in my life and do something that my future self would thank me for. I started to cut down partying and drinking, and began BBG and clean eating around 3 months ago. It has been a hard journey but it’s surely one of the best decisions I made thus far. I became a better and stronger version of myself, not only physically but also mentally. I used to be really bad at time management and I am surprised that Kayla’s guide actually helps me reflect and review how I used my time so I can add gym and clean eating into my busy daily schedule! One more piece of exciting news that I would like to share with you - my body fat % before I started BBG was 28% and my current body fat % is 22%! This is @shannonstellamaree who sent me this amazing email: "I am 23 years old and I've always struggled with body image. I've never considered myself overweight, but I had unhealthy eating habits that were usually prompted by stress, poor planning and low motivation. I've always had enough motivation to get active but often I wouldn't know what exercise to be doing to see results, or what to eat to achieved my desired results. When I found your guides (I used both the HELP and training guides) I felt it was perfect because it took away the pressure of having to make up workouts or the difficult task of trying to navigate the often confusing and contradictory advice out their about health and nutrition. The main motivation however for me was a post by you on your Instagram where you mentioned the excuses we often make to ourselves to get out of putting in the hard work. You listed a break up as one of them and that's when it clicked for me that there is no excuse big enough or bad enough to justify treating my body badly. Someone I loved had just broken my heart and I was stuck, frozen with grief. I had no desire to eat away my problems this time, I wanted to actually change my life and my relationship with my body, not bury it with food. Your guides gave me a routine that was simple to understand and follow and the network of strong women that has formed around your social media presence has provided me with endless inspiration and motivation. After 12 weeks I have lost 9 kilos, I was a size 12 when I started and now I'm a size 8. I feel so healthy and strong, I'm achieving physical challenges I thought I could never do, I'm no longer scared of the training guide but excited by it. Making it through these 12 weeks has been every bit a mental challenge as well as physical. I'm feeling positive and ready to take on Kayla 2.0 in the new year! I'm so thankful to you and your whole team for these guides that promote healthy, wholesome living, instead of demanding you restrict particular food groups or eat some strange plant you can only find in the Amazon. It's practical and maintainable and it's changed my life."
