"Prior to starting the Bikini Body Guide, I was like most young women, whose diet consisted of fast food and spending all day in front of the TV. I did no exercise whatsoever and was constantly lethargic with no motivation to achieve anything. 

The reason why I wanted to start the program was because I wasn't confident in my own skin. I wanted to be healthy and happy and not have to worry about what other people might think of me.
Since completing the 12 week Bikini Body Guide I have noticed massive changes in my energy levels, self confidence and in my strength! I could barely do one push-up before starting the program so it's amazing to look back on your progress to see how far you've come!

My entire life I have always been really active. I played basketball in high school, played a lot of sports all of my life and generally have always lived an active lifestyle. Being so active my entire life, I thought it was odd that I wasn't skinny. So I started working out every day, lifting the weights I knew how to use, and running. Still no change in my body. This went on for years, I figured since I wasn't gaining weight that I guess it didn't matter all that much. Then in the last 2 years I started to gain weight, even though I didn't change my diet or my workout schedule. I kind of just gave up at this point. Not sure why I was even trying since I was gaining weight anyways. Then in 2014 I went to the doctor for a check up, I weighed 179 lbs. and 28% body fat. I had high blood pressure and was told that I needed to start working out on a regular basis. This made me feel discouraged, and worried because it didn't work the last time. I decided to hire a personal trainer. I worked with him for 9 months solid, day in and day out. In 9 months time I lost 3 lbs. and my body fat percentage actually went up to 29%, and my blood pressure was still high. I was devastated and totally defeated. I thought maybe that I was just meant to be unhealthy, unhappy, and totally miserable.

I saw a friend post about how amazing your HELP Nutrition Guide was, and how easy it was to use. I figured I would give it one last try. I looked up "Kayla Itsines" and found that it wasn't just food, but a workout plan (Bikini Body Training Guide) and TONS of incredible woman who are going through what I am. I quit with my personal trainer and my husband ordered me the Bikini Body Guide and the HELP Guide. I was ecstatic! I have completed BBG 1.0 and have started it again, determined to annihilate this second time around! ;) When I started I weighed 178 lbs and was 29% body fat. At the end of 12 weeks, I now weigh 163 lbs and am 24% body fat. My husband says my bum looks really good in my jeans, which is the best compliment ever! My shirts don't bulge, they flow. My jeans aren't tight anymore, luckily summer is just around the corner LOL. I am loving that I went from an XL to a medium in shirts :) My energy is INSANE>LKDJF:LKDSJFLK I seriously can't just sit on my couch for hours anymore, I have to foam roll or stretch and I love that feeling. My blood pressure has gone WAY down and I am always just happy. Everything in life just seems to be more enjoyable. I love you and everything you stand for. You truly are the one person who showed me that anything is possible. I LOVE YOU KAYLA!! I can't wait to send my next 12 weeks :) GET READY WORLD! :)
