Consistency Leads To Amazing Results! #BBGStyle

I’m a big believer that consistency is important when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Reading these stories is a great reminder that healthy habits can help us to feel good, inside and outside!

Katie — @katiestafford_

Katie’s BBG journey started for the second time following a period of change. In two months, she had broken up with a long-term boyfriend, moved out of home and her best friend passed away. 

Grieving for her friend and adjusting to a new life, Katie lost focus on her health and her own needs. She fell into the habit of eating fast food regularly and drinking soft drink, instead of nourishing her body. 

Katie noticed the difference these eating habits had on her body. Her skin was no longer glowing, she gained weight, but mostly she hated the way she felt. Katie tried working out with a trainer and following a meal plan, but she wasn’t consistent. 

The lack of consistency affected Katie’s motivation, leaving her stuck. Katie explains that while her trainer was helping to encourage her and definitely made her work hard, she still wasn’t comfortable. “I found the lack of knowledge of gym machines and lack of set exercises each session made me lose motivation and then, in turn, made me very lazy and down on myself once again.”

Katie wanted to get her health back to where she was during her first BBG round. She knew that meant starting all over again — following the meal plan, doing the workouts and sticking with it. When she got back into the swing of it, Katie started to notice the difference. She felt confident again, her skin and energy was back! 

Something else Katie noticed a difference in was her thoughts. As she explains, “I also suffer from anxiety and social anxiety and not being active and healthy made it even worse. I need/needed something to focus on, to calm my mind and help me zone out of my thoughts.” Katie feels as though her anxiety is now more under control and she feels much happier. 

“I have my self-confidence back 100%, I love myself — as narcissistic as that sounds. I’m doing me, I am kicking goals and I’m finally getting back to a good place.”

Something I loved when I was reading Katie’s story was the fact that she knew she could start BBG again. Sometimes life can throw you curveballs, or you face difficulties and that makes it hard to follow the lifestyle you want. The key is knowing you can start again at any time.

Caterina — @caterina_fessia 

Caterina had been working out at the gym and using weights for around 12 months, but she wasn’t seeing the results she hoped for. She was looking at other options when a friend told her about my BBG program. 

While Caterina admits she found the BBG program a little difficult to begin with, she was determined to finish 12 weeks. Once her mind was made up, she threw herself into it!

Caterina followed the workouts at her gym, using weights and machines at different times. While she didn’t really change her eating habits, Caterina did make some lifestyle changes. 

Since starting BBG, Caterina says she now feels the need to workout. “My body has changed, I became stronger and I’ve taken 2 kilos but the most important thing is that I have changed my lifestyle”. She has learned how to care for herself and feels confident in herself, even on bad days. 

This is one of my favourite quotes from Caterina’s story: “I am 23-years-old and my dream is being the most beautiful woman I could be and my trip is only at the start.”

Reading about some of the positive changes that Caterina has embraced makes me so proud! The BBG is a lifestyle that women just like you can follow every day. It’s not a short-term change. It’s about feeling your absolute best, every day.
