Embracing A Healthy Lifestyle Thanks To BBG!
For me, a healthy lifestyle allows me to live my life to the fullest! I have the energy and confidence to jump into pretty much anything, which I’m so thankful for!
These transformation stories are all about two amazing women who embraced a healthy lifestyle. Since doing that, their lives have definitely changed!
Majda — @krizovamajda
For Majda, her desire for lifestyle changes had been a 2-year journey. Before starting BBG, she had been struggling with her body and self-image. She had tried other things, but she feels “all those diets had given me only low self-esteem, extra kilos and an overeating disorder. This overeating disorder was the reason why I wanted to change my lifestyle most.”
Majda wanted to get healthier, mentally. She had tried to follow a healthy eating plan many times, but always struggled to maintain it. Then came the turning point: after a huge binge, Majda decided she’d had enough. “I threw away all the sweets and started eating healthily, counting macros and training with BBG. I thought I would not be able to do this for a whole week, but I did it.”
Not only did Majda follow BBG for that week, but the next, and the next. She has now been doing BBG workouts and eating healthily for half a year! While she acknowledges that overeating is something she still has to be mindful of, she’s so proud of herself for how far she’s come!
On top of the amazing mindset changes Majda has been through, she is also hugely proud of the results she’s achieved! “I have achieved my dream body, I got abs, I have lost 17 kilograms (from 72kg to 55kg), I have dropped almost 20 centimetres over my belly, I have dropped 2 clothes sizes.” The progress that Majda has made during her journey is amazing, and I am truly blown away! I’m immensely proud that BBG has been so helpful — congratulations!
Jessica — @jessmendes
Jessica admits that she has always considered herself skinny, but not healthy. A few months before coming to Australia, she was working in an office and found herself gaining a little weight. Once she arrived in Australia, she had trouble with consistency. She would go running, then lose motivation if she didn’t see results. She explains that her eating habits would range from eating Nutella to having tuna with eggs to try and balance it out.
During her first winter in Australia, Jessica was struggling. Her clothes weren’t fitting as they used to and she was buying new ones. She felt uncomfortable about showing her body, and avoided going to the beach. “I was feeling bad because I was living in a new country, a lot of new beaches to go with friends and I did not do that because I was feeling bad with my body.”
Jessica had been following my Instagram since she was in Brazil and loved seeing the transformation stories. She decided if those ladies could do it, then so could she! She went out and bought herself some small pieces of equipment and got started with BBG. Being able to work out at home made things easier, and Jessica loved how quick the workouts were. “Even when I was feeling lazy I thought, come on, in 30 mins it will be done”.
The biggest change Jessica has noticed is how much she started to enjoy the workouts. Even when they were tough, Jessica began to enjoy it! By week four, she was noticing the difference in her progress photos and felt unstoppable!
As she was finishing her first round of BBG, Jessica headed off on a trip to Bali. As she enjoyed her holiday, Jessica realised something. “I had a problem because every pair of shorts was huge on me. They were falling down and I could see my bikini bottoms.” While on holidays, Jessica felt so much more confident and happy — she could just enjoy the trip!
For a few weeks, Jessica was caught up with moving house, the end of a relationship and a new job. While it was hard to start again, Jessica committed to it and found BBG better than ever! She’s proud of the success she’s had and tells everyone!
Her confidence has not only increased, but she strength and ability too. Jessica says she can do the exercises better and faster than before, and she’s so excited to make the most of her extra energy! She’s booked a number of trips around Australia, including a visit to the Whitsundays. “I’m finally feeling confident to enjoy life again.”
