Finding Enjoyment In New Fitness Routines!
One thing I think is important when it comes to your fitness routine is enjoyment! If you absolutely hate going to the gym, you may not be as consistent as you could be.
The BBG transformation stories I have for you today are a great example of how finding the right training style for you can make a huge difference!
Robyn's BBG journey — @robyns_bbg
Robyn explains that her story begins when she was a teenager, using food as a form of comfort. Her self-esteem was low and she felt kind of uncomfortable in her own body but didn’t really know what to do about it.
Robyn tried a number of crash diets, restricting her meals and drastically cutting calories. While she would sometimes see changes in her body in the short-term, the diets made her feel miserable and the weight usually crept back on. “Years later, I also tried extreme clean eating diets, macro counting and extreme calorie restriction. I became ‘skinny’ but I was very weak and unhappy.”
When Robyn moved to a new city and began commuting for long hours, she felt stuck in a cycle of poor eating. She wanted to become stronger and to take care of herself. Her cousin was following my BBG e-book and loving it, so Robyn felt inspired to try it too.
In just a few weeks, Robyn began to see and feel a difference. “For the first time ever I actually found exercise fun. I later moved on to the app and even 18 months later, I’ve never looked back and look forward to my BBG workouts every day.”
Since starting BBG, Robyn happily says she feels like a different person. Her confidence is higher than ever and she’s no longer worried about looking ‘skinny’. Instead, she’s focused on gaining strength. “Before starting BBG I weighed 152 pounds. After my first round, I dropped to 131. I now sit at around 140 pounds after gaining muscle mass throughout my last three rounds and love the strength I’ve gained!”
Robyn has also focused on her nutrition and eats mostly whole food, with an occasional indulgence when she feels like it!
“I would say fitness is now my biggest passion and BBG has opened up so many opportunities for me. I’ll even be doing my first half-marathon later in the year.”

Jennie was working out regularly before she began BBG, but she was not seeing the progress she hoped for. She had tried a few different workout programs, but Jennie wasn’t enjoying them.
“I decided to change my lifestyle because I had previously gotten out of a workout routine and had gotten a little out of shape. I didn’t realise this until I had to start buying bigger clothes.” Feeling frustrated, Jennie decided she wanted to try a new program.
Having tried some of the free BBG workouts on my website, Jennie took advantage of a Black Friday sale and subscribed to the SWEAT app. She decided to try out BBG Stronger!
“As far as my progress goes, I have dropped two pant sizes in the 12 weeks of BBG Stronger! My energy has skyrocketed and I have a new level of self-confidence.” In addition to following the workouts of BBG Stronger, Jennie has also cleaned up her diet. She is determined to get the most out of her routine!
