Finding Comfort In Fitness Routines With BBG!

My BBG workout programs are designed to keep you focused during your training, and I have always encouraged my BBG girls to find what works for them — that’s how you can make time for your fitness.
Meet two ladies who found comfort and a whole new love for fitness after starting BBG.
Leigh’s BBG story
In her email, Leigh explained that she had been struggling to feel comfortable and confident in herself for some time. She was stuck in a cycle — starting a new program and having a bit of success before losing motivation and giving up, only to gain back any weight she had lost.
“This was a constant cycle. I so desperately wanted to change but I didn’t truly want to change my lifestyle. I was looking for a quick fix, and that’s why I was failing.”
Leigh was tired of the cycle and constantly restarting the process. When her friends wanted to go on a group holiday, Leigh was determined to enjoy her holiday and feel good!
“I wanted this to be it — the time I actually lost my weight, but I wasn’t 100% sure I could do it. I didn’t really believe in myself because I had tried and failed so many times before. I had done a few BBG workouts with friends the year before (I hated them because they were so hard!) but I had been following Instagram and BBG babes and I was astounded by their progress. I thought ‘Hey, I am no different to them! Maybe I can have results like that!’ So I downloaded the app and just started.”
Following my BBG workouts and taking inspiration from the meal plans section of the app, Leigh began to find a routine she could stick to. She made room in her life for regular exercise and began to develop better habits around her meals, as well as choosing healthy snacks. Leigh felt like this was something she would never have been able to do, but she did!
“I can’t even tell you the progress I have had. It has been slow but it has been amazing. I have gone from a size 18 to a 12. I feel comfortable in my own skin, I don’t pull at my clothes to stretch them, I don’t sit with a pillow or a bag over my stomach when out with friends, I don’t cringe or feel a sense of shame when I see my reflection.”
Leigh admits that while her journey has not been easy, she feels that BBG has helped to change her life! She has been able to not only change her mindset but she has adopted a brand new healthy lifestyle as well!
“I am so proud of everything I have been able to achieve. It has been the hardest yet best and most rewarding thing I have ever done. Hands down.”
Incredible work Leigh! You sound so strong and self-confident now, I am so happy you were able to stick to the routine and you are enjoying the benefits of a regular fitness routine!
Kendall’s BBG story — @kendallpotter
In her email, Kendall explained that while the time between her BBG progress pictures was short (4 months), it was enough for her to notice the massive changes she had made in her life.
“Before starting BBG Stronger, my idea of fitness was eating as little as I could and running for hours a week. I was a full-time student and ‘fitness’ took up most of my spare time and thoughts.”
Being stuck thinking that fitness is just one pathway can make it incredibly difficult to find your own way — to find comfort in a routine that suits you. Kendall needed to make a healthy mindset shift when it came to fitness too.
“I saw a photo of myself and didn’t recognise who I was. I thought that I looked strong but really I looked tired and lifeless.”
For Kendall, making the choice to start BBG Stronger was just the beginning of something new. She also began to change her eating habits and became more comfortable working out with weights too.
“I have gone up a size in clothes but the biggest change has been in the way I feel. I am confident in the gym, comfortable eating more and can do so much more than I ever thought I could. Fitness isn’t all about running for hours on the treadmill or only eating salad — and I think I always knew that.”
Finding comfort in BBG Stronger and her new gym routine helped Kendall to be consistent with working out and she is happy to take things at her own pace.
