From Setback To Comeback With BBG!
Ladies, if you’ve ever suffered from an injury, you probably know it can be a tough time. When you have little control over how long your body will take to recover, you can feel a bit helpless.
Then, once your healthcare provider clears you to begin training again, it’s like starting from square one. Getting your motivation and routine back can be tough — but it can be done!
Today, I’ve got two amazing BBG transformation stories to share with you. These ladies have suffered an injury and found their way back to loving fitness again, thanks to BBG!
Jenna’s BBG journey
Growing up as a dancer, Jenna always felt strong and fit. During college, she was dancing and teaching fitness classes, something she loved doing! “I was in the best shape of my life both cardio and strength-wise, I never questioned my mental or physical abilities with fitness.”
This mindset began to change when Jenna suffered an injury and spent a year working on her rehabilitation. “I lost so much muscle, endurance and body image confidence during my recovery time and had to start back at square one.” Jenna was determined to get back her strength and fitness. Seeing photos of girls following my BBG program on Instagram was just what Jenna needed to convince her to commit to 12 weeks. “I knew I needed something to keep me accountable to improve my mental and physical strength again. BBG gave me that every week through workouts that I could modify, stay accountable with and increase my strength and endurance.”
Jenna explains that both the mental and physical benefits of BBG have been fantastic for her. “I gained more energy and strength after a few weeks of the guide, as well as felt more confident in my clothes.”

Brooke’s BBG journey
In her email, Brooke explains that while she used to be a cross-country runner who loved the weights room, her fitness routine had completely lapsed.
An injury had derailed Brooke’s fitness journey. “I had been dealing with a neck injury that brought on chronic pain in various areas of my body and headaches and nausea, which all led to a pretty severe case of depression. I have always struggled with self-love and seeing any worth in myself, so after having a few curve balls thrown at me, I had lost every bit of hope and all motivation.”
Brooke reached a point where she felt she had to change. She was tired of struggling with low self-confidence and wanted to learn how to love herself, and her body, again. Brooke began walking and slowly, gently moving her body. She took it one day at a time, slowly trading her old habits for healthier options and putting effort into walking regularly. After doing this for a while, she decided it was time to try for something that was going to give her a routine that she could stick to.
After learning more about BBG and the community, Brooke decided she wanted to try it for herself. Taking it slowly, Brooke has worked her way through BBG 1.0 at her own pace. “To be honest, I haven’t even completely finished the guide. I’ve done the pre-training and the first eight weeks over and over. I like feeling completely strong and comfortable with whatever week I’m on before moving to the next. Even doing that, I’m still seeing results!”
Throughout her journey, Brooke has made some incredible progress — not just physically but mentally too. “My shoulders aren’t weighed down by all the negative, horrible things I used to feel. My overall health and chronic issues have improved so, so much. I feel like a healthy, happy person again. I’m not sick all the time anymore and that alone is worth a million dollars! I finally feel like I can look in the mirror again and appreciate myself — the person that I am today. I can look at my body and see what it’s done for me and how hard it has worked to get me where I am today.”
