Increase Your Confidence And Strength! #BBG
I have two more amazing transformations to share with you girls! These two ladies have done such a wonderful job and the effort they have put in is absolutely evident.
Nathalie — @natkap
Before starting out her BBG journey, Nathalie admits she had been looking at workouts all wrong. While she went to the gym regularly for a while, she did it only to give her an excuse to eat more. She liked to go to the gym, then have a huge meal as a reward.
This meant she not only didn’t see any results from her gym visits, she even gained weight. Nathalie’s motivation levels dropped and she felt intense disappointment.
Finding the BBG Community on Instagram, Nathalie found support and motivation. She decided to give the program a try. The photos, positive attitude and happiness shared with each BBG post gave Nathalie hope. “I also feel a close connection to you as a person, as I’m Greek myself and just love how you talk about Greece and your Yiayia and Papou, it’s just too cute.”
Since starting BBG, Nathalie has more energy and even looks forward to going to the gym each day after work. Even better, after being a smoker for 10 years, Nathalie quit and isn’t looking back! She also takes a rest day every Sunday to give her body time to recover.
Nathalie says, “There’s still work to do in order for me to feel 100% confident, but I can definitely say I’m getting there.”
What a transformation! Nathalie has such a positive attitude, and I am so happy she’s quit smoking too. It’s fantastic to read how much she now cares for her body and values the energy she has!
Sora — @soradfit
Sora shares that before starting BBG, she was constantly worried about her weight. Even though she was quite slim, Sora tried lots of unhealthy methods to become even thinner.
As she explains, she went on runs a lot, drank tea-toxes and coffee detoxes to lose weight and also tried to have a low-calorie intake each day. Sora says, “...but I was always really hungry so late night binges did happen from time to time.”
Sora was so concerned about being super skinny, something that she believes wasn’t helped by being in the modelling industry. She admits she became obsessed with the scale as she had to meet certain expectations.
The day came when Sora wanted to change her lifestyle. She had now left the modelling industry and woke up with a desire to be strong, not skinny. She wanted to be proud of her body, and didn’t want to waste any time.
Sora feels as though she made a lot of progress in the first 12 weeks. “I feel so good mentally, and I’m proud of my abdominal muscle I’ve gained, as well as some arm definition too. I’ve also noticed my shorts feeling a little more snug (thank you leg day!).”
I loved reading Sora’s story. She has really embraced a shift in mindset, and now has her sights firmly set on becoming stronger. What an amazing transformation!
