Incredible Bikini Body Guide Transformations & Review!

I have some amazing transformations to share with you girls this week! Both of these INCREDIBLE women have worked SO hard and I’m so happy to see how confident they now are!

This is the lovely Erica who sent me this email:

"Hello from South Orange County, California USA!

I am a Wife, Mother of 2 (22 & 18), Step Mother of 4 (28, 24, 22 & 18) and a Freelance Writer.

I want to say THANK YOU for all you do for women everywhere of ALL ages.

I just turned 52 on Sunday May 1. I started working out to BBG1.0 on August 28, 2015. I had seen all of the transformation pics and followed you on Instagram but it took me about a year and a half to FINALLY buy the guide and go for it. I WAS working out regularly but perimenopause had taken over completely. I was puffed up like a blowfish no matter how much I worked out - especially in the middle (which is where it's supposed to happen!). I got reactions to food constantly, even  when I thought I was eating well, my body was just reacting to everything.

I decided to make BIG changes at the beginning of last Summer. I decided to eat Paleo at the end of May 2015 and it made me feel so much better but I knew my workouts - although consistent and challenging, were NOT doing the trick.

I am now on Week 33 (I DID do the 4 week Pre-Training so I guess you could say 37 weeks total). I have gone through BBG 1.0, BBG 2.0 and since completing that, I have stuck to the program - only now I just choose which workout I want to do from the 2 guides on whatever day. ALSO: For the last 4 weeks, I have incorporated running the mile back into my workouts. I didn't realize how much stamina I had built up since starting with BBG!

I LOVE being strong, love finally seeing results and LOVE the community you have built. The other day, you posted @jasbbg45 and talked about people asking "are there any women over 40?". I am here to tell you YES!! and even over 50!!

I have just started a new Instagram account @phitn52 and I am about to introduce a new blog for women that are struggling through perimenopause and need support. I am a work in progress but I know that we all need encouragement and support and if I can help any woman that needs it, I consider it a blessing to do so.

Sweat With Kayla

This is the lovely Janelle who sent me this email:

“Hi Kayla! My name is Janelle (@janellechap). I thought it was finally time to thank you for helping me achieve my weight loss goals and keeping me inspired. I have been putting off sharing this photo and my story for so long because I am scared what people will think. But I am finally comfortable enough to share this photo and hopefully i can motivate others in similar positions.

The photo on the left is not my heaviest, however all I have. I was 87 kg and after 15 months I am now 65 kg. However, most of my weight loss was in the first 8 months of doing your guides.

I had always been skinny with a fast metabolism. This changed in year 12 in 2013. I was stressed out, obsessed with perfection, not sleeping, not moving, comfort eating, and had a little break down. As a result without realizing, I became 18 kilos heavier in only 3 months. I was a shell of my once vibrant, happy, social and outgoing self. I had not realized that I had gained weight until shopping when I looked in the 4-sided mirror and saw the back of my legs covered in stretch marks. I discovered I had gone up 5 sizes!

After this horrible year, I assumed my life would go back to normal but my friends had disappeared and people would look at me differently now that I was bigger. I looked and felt like a completely different person and was alone. For the next 5 months I stayed in my bed, cried, and shut out the world. I reached my highest weight, but I continued to only feel sorry for myself. I could hardly walk, I was weak and always tired.

I tried so many different ridiculous ‘quick fix’ diets. When the scales did not go down after weeks of starving myself, I would give up and binge. I made the same mistakes over and over. Then 2014 ended and I was mortified that 2 years of my life had gone and I had nothing to show for it. I could not continue this constant battle with myself. I threw the scales away and started training and dieting again in January 2015. I came across your progress photos and guides and I became hopeful. You showed me healthy eating could be fun and enjoyable…. So I threw the idea of a ‘diet’ away.

I spent January building my fitness up and started the BBG Guide’s in February and haven’t looked back since. I was able to get into this routine instantly. It was so exciting to see a difference in my body each week. I lost 6 kilos in the first month!  For the first 7 months I was steadily losing 3 kg every month.

Today after 15 months, I have lost over 20 kilos. I did not need a personal trainer, a gym membership or supplements. All I needed was to believe in myself.

With commencing this new life full of exercising, and healthy eating I now have a positive outlook on my future and i am a stronger and better person, which would not be possible if I had not gone through this battle and transformation. I feel and look like a completely different person. I have so much energy, I am happy, and positive. My negative thoughts, habits and moods disappeared.

It was a mental challenge and was not easy- but totally worth it. I stopped looking in the mirror each day and just focused on the idea of becoming healthier and progressing, not being perfect.
