When you are making lifestyle changes, sometimes you may hit hurdles or give up along the way. These two incredible ladies got their start thanks to inspiration from the community and now they have their own stories to share:
Natalie’s BBG journey — @thatfitchicknatalie
Natalie is one of my amazing BBG mums! She explains that working full-time and family life meant that she didn’t have a lot of time for exercise.
Knowing that she wanted to be healthy for her children, Natalie began her own workout routine at home. She began losing weight and felt so proud that she was making progress — until she was surprised by the fact that she was pregnant again. “I felt like the road to a healthier lifestyle had been interrupted and I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to go back to it after pregnancy.” Natalie wanted to continue on her fitness journey once she had her third child.
While browsing Instagram, Natalie came across some BBG transformation photos and she became interested in my program. “I couldn’t believe my eyes, their transformations were so amazing! I told myself that this is what I need to do once I delivered this baby — that this was the way that I would get in shape after baby #3. I never thought that I would actually start it and stick with it, especially because it was so hard in the beginning.” After giving birth and receiving the all-clear from her doctor, Natalie committed to BBG and started noticing small changes in just a few weeks.
After completing the first 12 weeks of BBG, Natalie says she felt amazing. Her confidence had increased and she was noticing how much stronger she had become. “I was back to my pre-pregnancy size at 5 months postpartum, which I had never achieved with my other two babies, it had always taken a year. I was not only back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I was leaner and more toned. I never thought that at 38 years of age, and after 3 babies, that I would be in the best shape of my life.” Natalie felt inspired by the progress she had made and she began BBG 2.0 before repeating both guides again. Now Natalie is easily completing exercises she struggled with in the beginning and she says she feels fabulous!

Leigh Ann’s BBG journey — @Leighlovess
Leigh Ann’s email explains that she had always struggled a little with her body confidence. While she was at college, she fell into a cycle of eating poorly and drinking regularly.
“Then I fell in love with the best man ever and I decided to start eating healthier and working out.” Leigh Ann realised that she wanted to make changes to her lifestyle and to stick to them. After seeing lots of BBG transformation images on Instagram, Leigh Ann decided to try it.
“I tried the program a few times and quickly gave up because it was ‘too hard’ for me. Finally, I realised that it’s okay if I can’t do the workout the exact way it was written. I made small little modifications and just tried my best! And I still saw results! But of course, I quit again.” In January this year, Leigh Ann decided she was going to seriously commit to BBG.
To help her stick to a routine, Leigh Ann found a workout buddy to join her for the 12-Week Challenge. She also committed to making changes to her diet — and has found that she actually likes vegetables! “It’s not about losing weight, it’s about treating my body the way I should! I have learned to love veggies, especially roasted broccoli! Yum!”
