New Lifestyles And New BBG Goals!
I know I say this a lot but reading your BBG transformation stories makes me so, so, so happy! The hard work you put in is so inspirational, I love seeing your progress and reading how BBG has helped you to live a happier, healthier lifestyle.
Today, I have two more amazing stories to share with you. These two ladies have achieved so much — I know you will be feeling motivated after reading these:
Catherine’s BBG journey — @cec.bbg
Before starting BBG, Catherine explains that she didn’t really have a good relationship with exercise. While she had a gym membership, Catherine often made excuses not to go, or she would rush through a workout in order to leave sooner.
After having her daughter, Catherine realised that she had grown tired of her lifestyle. “I realised how much I hated feeling overweight and generally unhealthy. I used to drink far too much alcohol and even though my diet was generally okay, there was room for improvement. I knew I didn’t want to feel like this any longer but I didn’t know what to do, I’d tried every diet known to man in the past and nothing worked.”
Now that Catherine had made up her mind to change her lifestyle, she was determined to follow through. At the hairdressers one day, Catherine was flicking through a copy of Women’s Health Magazine and saw a feature on BBG. “I loved the approach but honestly didn’t believe 28 minutes, 3 times a week could make much difference — how wrong I was. I promptly started following Kayla on Twitter and made the decision to order BBG 1.0.”
Catherine started her first BBG workouts and admits that she found it really hard. She kept going and soon realised that she felt great after each workout — and even began looking forward to the next one. “It wasn’t long before I realised there was more to this than just ‘weight loss’, it involved an entire lifestyle change and one I was actually willing to do as I really wanted to see the results. I absolutely loved BBG, I’d finally found something I could do at home that actually worked.”
Catherine has not only taken charge of her fitness but her eating habits as well. She plans her meals, allowing for treats when she feels like it. The combination of both regular exercise and a healthy diet has given Catherine a much more positive mindset and tons of energy. “I’ve gone from a UK size 12 to a UK size 8 (sometimes a 6!). I feel fantastic when getting dressed up to go out, I don’t look in the mirror anymore and feel like crying. I know I look great and that is probably one of the best feelings ever. I’ve proved age has nothing to do with it and it’s all in the mind!”

Dani’s BBG journey — @danilwalker
Dani was a runner and played a lot of sports while she was in high school but she explains that sport took a back seat to her studies when she began college.
While she tried to eat healthily, Dani admits she didn’t really know what good nutrition and a strong workout routine should look like. “I would do cardio a few times a week but it never really veered far from that. I knew what I wanted but had no idea how to get there. That’s when I started following the BBG Community and I was so inspired by everyone’s progress.”
Dani got both my training guide and nutrition guide and began following them. “Two years after college and doing BBG on and off, I found out I was pregnant. That was enough motivation for me to really change my mindset and lifestyle.”
Throughout the first two trimesters of her pregnancy, Dani continued working out, doing modified BBG exercises with the approval of her doctor. “I was blessed with an easy pregnancy and was able to continue with physical activity right up until I had my son. Once I was cleared from my doctor post-birth, I was serious about losing the baby weight, continuing to eat healthily for myself and my baby, as well as getting my body back.”
Once she got back into a regular routine with her BBG workouts, Dani began to notice changes. “When I was pregnant, I gained 40 pounds. Since doing the workouts consistently I feel more confident in my own body and have lost the baby weight and then some.” Dani has set her sights on new goals and is committed to achieving them too.
