Next Level Confidence Because Of BBG!
Quite often, I receive comments from you ladies saying that before you began my BBG program, you were struggling with your mindset and felt a bit lost in your routine. It is SO easy for life to get in the way sometimes!
I am so glad that for these two inspiring women, the simple choice of beginning BBG and incorporating it into their daily schedule was the beginning of huge positive changes for them.
These two incredible transformations really do prove that a healthy lifestyle can often begin with just a small change made on a regular basis.
I am so proud that these ladies consistently committed to putting their health first and chose to change their lives for the better. Read their stories below for some inspiration — and a reminder of why it is so important to push through the initial difficulty of beginning a new routine!
Katie — @khitch23
Throughout high school, Katie was very active. She played basketball and volleyball, which meant she was exercising almost every day. Once Katie began college, it was a big change to her lifestyle. “I didn’t play any organised sports in college and found it difficult to know what to do on my own.”
Katie quickly found her eating habits began to catch up with her. Snacking on cookies and candy, skipping breakfast and regularly eating pizza or pasta for lunch and dinner, coupled with less exercise left Katie feeling bloated and unhappy. “When I started college (2010), I weighed around 130 pounds. When I graduated 4 years later (2014), I weighed in around 165. I started working shortly after graduation and just wasn’t happy with how I looked/felt.”
Feeling ready to change her lifestyle, Katie began going to the gym. While she felt that she was making progress, Katie felt frustrated when it wasn’t reflected in her photos. “A year and a half later, little progress was made. I didn’t know how to push myself without a coach telling me what to do. My friend started BBG and raved about it so I decided to give it a try in February 2016.”
Since starting BBG, Katie has made changes to her whole lifestyle! Instead of dragging herself to the gym, she now looks forward to going and says she always feels better after getting her workout done. And Katie is noticing the results too! “First of all — I finally have baby abs!!! In high school, I rarely pushed myself to get toned. We would do weight lifting during practice but I always stuck with the lowest weight possible. I wasn’t interested in building muscle / seriously getting stronger. Let me tell you — I wish I had back then because it’s an AMAZING feeling!”
Katie has seen muscle growth and tone all over, and loves how strong she feels! Having completed four rounds of BBG 1.0 and now doing BBG 2.0, exercise and eating healthier has become a fixture in Katie’s life. She has a routine to follow at the gym and loves feeling the strength in her body.
Congratulations on your hard work, Katie! I’m so happy to hear you are stronger and more energised, as well as have more confidence. Keep it up xx
Holly — @deck_the_hollzz
While going to college, Holly found herself in a pattern of poor eating. She would eat unhealthy snacks all day, including late at night, and regularly ate out. Because she was so busy, exercise was hard to fit into her schedule. “It was easy to fall into the lazy, unhealthy college lifestyle and throughout college I gained 30 pounds.”
Holly decided to make some changes to her lifestyle. Holly explains that her dad had some health problems that may have been preventable with regular diet and exercise, which was motivation for her to change her habits. She began doing BBG and used my HELP Nutrition Guide to learn about healthier eating.
Since completing both BBG and BBG 2.0, Holly has noticed many changes. “My clothes are LOOSE. My old pants fall off me and I just recently bought new jeans and it felt great.” Holly has also learned how to create her own meals that follow the good nutrition principles included in my nutrition guide. “My weight before starting was 138 pounds and I am now 118 pounds. I feel much more confident and happy with my body.”
Amazing work, Holly! I’m so glad you are putting your health first and that you feel better for it!
