This is the lovely Anna who sent me this email:
I started the BBG guides right after I gave birth to my first baby boy. Before I got pregnant I looked physically fit, but deep inside I knew I was not... I went to the gym every single day, did cardio 30 mins to an hour and starved myself and on top of that I was struggling with bulimia. When I got pregnant I let myself go and ended up gaining over 55lbs.
I was sick and tired of pretending that I am all that fit and healthy when I knew that every single day I was destroying my body more and more. By changing my lifestyle I wanted to gain that self confidence and learn to respect my body.
It was crazy to see how fast I was able to lose all that extra weight that I put on during my pregnancy. My energy levels went up and I didn't feel as tired. I'm feeling self confident and learning to love my body every single day. Before starting BBG I was around 63kg and now I am 55kg.

This is the lovely Mikaela who sent me this email:
I was always active growing up and played a lot of sports. After quitting competitive lacrosse in college, I felt a bit lost with how to stay active and fit without playing a sport. I knew nothing about circuits or weightlifting. I typically only did cardio and would run on the treadmill for miles without ever seeing any progress. As for eating, I typically ate healthy, but I honestly did not know much about nutrition and I would snack on a lot of junk food. I’ve always been naturally thin and have a fast metabolism, so I never worried about gaining weight.
During my last year of college, I suddenly had a lot of stomach problems and would feel sick after I ate. I also had a lot of anxiety that would take over my day. When doctors said there was nothing medically wrong with me, I thought changing my diet and being more active would help. During this time my confidence in my body was at an all time low, and I wanted to feel and look healthy and strong. I was tired of feeling self-conscious and insecure about my body and finally had enough.
After a few weeks of doing BBG, I felt so much stronger and gained a lot of energy! Doing the BBG circuits helped me reduce stress and my anxiety and stomach issues completely went away. I realized that eating healthier (more veggies and less sugary snacks) and being active made all the difference.
I saw the most changes during my second round, when I noticed that my abs became defined. My legs have always been my biggest insecurity, and they became so much leaner and more toned. I also saw muscle growth in my arms which I had never thought would ever happen. I feel so much more confident and for the first time feel proud of my body.
I had hoped to become more confident with my physical appearance, but I never imagined that BBG would also help my confidence as a person. I’ve always been super shy and self-conscious, but BBG has given me the confidence to put myself out there.
A year ago it took so much courage to start a fitness Instagram and I never thought I would find the strength to post a progress photo, but I did. This confidence has helped me so much in my personal and professional life and I can’t be more thankful to Kayla for that!
I am also so thankful for the friends that I have made through this community! I moved from LA to Denver a month ago and was nervous about meeting new friends, but I quickly found a local BBG meet-up group and have already found new friends to workout with!
Now that I’m on my fifth round, I feel better than I ever have before and am in better shape than I was as a competitive athlete. My whole mindset about health and fitness has changed and it has become a lifestyle.
