Stepping Beyond The Comfort Zone And Loving The Progress!
Sometimes we get a little too comfortable and used to our lifestyle, even though we KNOW it isn’t healthy for us. Often when this happens, we don’t make lifestyle changes because we don’t know where to start or because we’re scared to take the leap.

Dyna’s BBG journey — @we_are_the_hunted
In Dyna’s email, she explains how difficult it was to find time for herself, let alone exercise. She has a young daughter and two stepchildren, works full time and her partner works away from home a lot.
While Dyna had a copy of my original Bikini Body Training Guide, she admits that she didn’t follow it regularly and didn’t feel 100% motivated. “I finally decided it’s not about finding the time, it’s about making the time. I am worth it and I am sick of looking in the mirror wishing I looked and felt better for my age. As 2018 approached, I thought ‘yep, this is my year.’ I commented on a post of Kayla’s and she liked my comment — that was my sign.”
Dyna armed herself with as much information as she could. She used my blog and my books, The Bikini Body 28-Day Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Guide and The Bikini Body Motivation & Habits Guide, to learn more about eating healthier. “I took advice about healthier options such as changing sauces, eating grains, nuts, lots of water, more salads, healthier sides, reducing portions and also the acknowledgement that a cheat meal is exactly that and not a cheat day.”
Dyna uses the SWEAT app to help plan her exercise and is finding it easier to make time in her schedule for BBG workouts. She loves being able to do a BBG Stronger workout some days and ticking off BBG workouts other days. HIIT and LISS cardio has also become a part of her routine. In fact, Dyna says she now wants to exercise, something she struggled with before.
Since starting BBG and making changes to her lifestyle, Dyna has noticed huge differences, particularly when it comes to her self-confidence. “I tried on clothes yesterday at the shop and for the first time in a long time I was thinking ‘Damn girl, you are looking great for your age.’ I have suffered poor perceptions of myself in the past. I never hated my body, I just never loved it and now I feel I love every bump as I’m making time to improve how I view myself.”

Alexia’s BBG journey — @bbg_watermelon
Alexia explains that before starting BBG she had not been very active. Wanting to lose weight, she tried a couple of different diets and while she lost weight, Alexia felt unhealthy. She didn’t have confidence in herself.
While browsing Instagram one day, Alexia came across a progress photo from a BBG girl and she became intrigued. “I didn’t believe in that progress, so I searched for Kayla’s profile and saw that it was true. I felt really excited to try it because it’s exercises you can do at your home.”
Once Alexia completed her first BBG workout, she was hooked. As she progressed through the weeks, Alexia noticed her strength increasing and lean muscle developing. “I do LISS or HIIT in the morning —when I don’t do them, I feel my day is incomplete. It’s part of my life now.”
