Traditional Greek Salad Recipe

Greek Salad

This salad is a staple in my diet, it is SO easy to make but when you use the freshest ingredients it tastes delicious! Whenever I go to my Yiayia & Pappou's house they always make this with ingredients from their home grown garden and I can't get enough of it. 

This makes 1 large serve or 2 smaller serves.

3 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
¼ garlic clove, crushed
¼ tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
1 medium cucumber, sliced
½ medium green capsicum, sliced
¼ small red onion, sliced
6-8 olives, pitted
40g salt-reduced feta cheese



1. Place the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and oregano in a small bowl and whisk until combined. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

2. Place the tomato, cucumber, capsicum, onion and olives in a medium bowl and toss gently to combine.

3. Place the salad in a serving bowl, top with the feta cheese and drizzle with the olive oil dressing. Enjoy!
