I love making smoothie bowls, because they are so easy and fun to get creative with! This smoothie bowl is made using the classic choc & PB combo and yes, it tastes ah-mazing!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Total time: 5 mins

Serves: 1

Dietary preferences: Vegetarian, Gluten-free

Ingredients:

  • 200g plain low-fat yoghurt
  • 125ml low-fat milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 banana, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2-3 ice cubes

Topping:

  • ½ banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 10g peanuts
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut

 

Method:

1. Place the yoghurt, milk, banana, cacao powder, peanut butter, maple syrup and ice cubes in a blender and blend until well combined.

2. Place the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with sliced banana, cacao nibs, peanuts and shredded coconut. Enjoy!
